WIXSYNC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the WIXSYNC platform, a CSV conversion service that helps store owners migrate product catalogs from Shopify and WooCommerce to Wix. By using WIXSYNC, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

Our Commitment We are committed to handling your data responsibly. We collect only what is necessary, never sell your data to third parties, and delete your uploaded files promptly after processing.

Account Information

Username and email address provided during registration
Encrypted password (we never store passwords in plain text)
Points balance and transaction history

Usage Data

Pages visited and features used on our platform
IP address, browser type, and device information
Date and time of access

Uploaded Files

CSV files you upload for conversion (processed temporarily)
Converted output files made available for download

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

To process your CSV conversions and deliver output files
To manage your points balance and process purchases
To send transactional emails such as password resets and purchase confirmations
To improve the platform based on usage patterns

We do not use your data for targeted advertising and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it:

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
Passwords are hashed using secure algorithms and never stored in plain text
Uploaded CSV files are stored temporarily and deleted after processing
Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only

File Handling Uploaded CSV files are stored only for the duration required to complete your conversion. Converted output files are retained in your account history but can be deleted at any time from your dashboard.

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers solely to operate our platform:

Stripe — Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's own Privacy Policy.
Google reCAPTCHA — Bot and fraud prevention. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Hosting Provider — Infrastructure to run the platform securely.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WIXSYNC, our users, or the public.

WIXSYNC uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session and improve your experience. We use the following types of cookies:

Uploaded CSV files are deleted immediately after conversion is complete
Converted output files are retained in your history until you delete them
Payment records are retained as required by financial regulations

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children's Privacy

WIXSYNC is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of WIXSYNC after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
