Migrating your WooCommerce store to Wix doesn't have to mean hours of manual CSV editing. WooCommerce exports a complex format with simple and variable products mixed together — WIXSYNC automatically splits, converts, and formats everything into Wix-ready files.

This guide walks you through every step — from exporting your WooCommerce products to importing them cleanly into Wix in either V1 or V3 format.

Why WIXSYNC
Built for WooCommerce → Wix Migrations
Handles simple and variable products automatically
Catalog V1 and V3 output in one ZIP
Product attributes and variants mapped correctly
Fast processing — results in seconds
Conversion history saved to your dashboard
Flexible points system — pay only for what you use
1

Export Your Products from WooCommerce

Log in to your WordPress admin panel and navigate to:

Products → All Products → Export

On the export screen, select All columns and make sure Export custom meta is checked. This ensures product attributes and variant data are included in the export.

Click Generate CSV and save the file to your computer.

2

Create a WIXSYNC Account

Go to wixsync.com and click Sign Up. Fill in your details and verify your email. Check your Spam or Junk folder if the verification email doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

New accounts receive 3 free conversion points on signup — no credit card required.
3

Upload Your WooCommerce CSV to WIXSYNC

Navigate to the WooCommerce Converter from your dashboard or the nav menu. Then:

  1. Click Choose File and upload your WooCommerce CSV export
  2. Optionally enable Custom Collection to assign a product category
  3. Enter your collection name if using one
  4. Click Convert and wait a few seconds
WIXSYNC automatically detects simple and variable product types from your WooCommerce export — no manual sorting needed.

Understanding Wix Catalog V1 vs V3

After conversion, download the ZIP file. Inside you'll find two folders — one for each Wix catalog version:

V1
Classic Store
The original Wix Stores format. Used by older Wix stores with the classic product import panel.
V3
New Store
The updated schema for Wix's new Stores experience. Uses uppercase field types and new inventory values.
To check your version: go to your Wix Dashboard → Store Products → Import. A modern UI means V3; a classic UI means V1.
5

Import Your Converted Products into Wix

Open the correct version folder (V1 or V3). Inside you'll find two CSV files:

  • Non-variant products CSV (simple products)
  • Variant products CSV (variable products with options like size or color)

Import them in this order:

  1. Import the Non-variant file first
  2. Then import the Variant file

Wix Dashboard → Store Products → More Actions → Import

Always import non-variants before variants. Wix needs the base products to exist before it can attach variant rows to them.
6

Understanding WIXSYNC Points

WIXSYNC uses a points-based system — 1 point = 1 product conversion.

  • Points are deducted based on the number of products in your CSV
  • If you don't have enough points, the conversion won't complete
  • You can buy more points anytime from your dashboard
  • Points never expire as long as your account is active
7

View Your Conversion History

Every conversion is saved to your dashboard. From there you can:

  • Re-download your latest output file at any time
  • Track how many points you've used
  • View your remaining points balance
